Two days before the 45th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, which catalyzed the gay rights movement, Logo is honoring contemporary LGBT torchbearers—including the cast of Orange Is the New Black and Brooklyn Nets center Jason Collins—at the first annual Trailblazers ceremony.

The high-wattage event, which was filmed in New York on Monday, welcomed gay activists (including DOMA challenger Edie Windsor and young people who have founded support groups) as well as celebrity allies Daniel Radcliffe, Joe Manganiello, Adam Levine, and more.

EW has an exclusive preview of the event opener featuring Jared Leto, fun.’s Jack Antonoff, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, and Macklemore answering the question, “What is a trailblazer?”

For his part, Leto urges, “If we put one foot in front of the other, and we stop at nothing, then we can make a better life for ourselves and the people that we love and for the world.” Watch below.

Logo’s first annual Trailblazers ceremony airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET.
