A Desperate woman is coming to Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Fox announced today that Desperate Housewives vet Eva Longoria will guest-star on Andy Samberg’s cop comedy this season. Appearing in three episodes, Longoria will play a defense attorney named Sophia who draws the attention of Jake (Samberg) when she squares off with him in court. Jake, of course, was last seen confessing romantic feelings to Amy (Melissa Fumero) as he headed undercover with the FBI, so there’s that complication as well.

Longoria’s first episode is slated to air in November.

Kyra Sedgwick also will join Brooklyn for a multi-episode arc as the nemesis of Holt (Andre Braugher). Also on the guest docket: Jenny Slate and Patton Oswalt.
