'Breaking Bad' wins Outstanding Drama Series Emmy

At the end of Monday night’s Primetime Emmys telecast, Breaking Bad won its second (and second consecutive) award for Outstanding Drama Series. Creator Vince Gilligan was on hand to accept the award onstage.

“This is a wonderful time to be working in television. I think we all know that,” Gilligan said. He thanked his cast and production crew, as well as critics and fans of the show. “Thank you very much.”

Other nominees in the field were Downton AbbeyGame of ThronesHouse of CardsMad Men, and True Detective.
