In addition to giving fans a glimpse at a solemn-looking, crossbow-wielding Gale, the newest posters from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 introduce a whole bunch of unfamiliar faces, including Natalie Dormer’s Cressida and her vine head tattoo. Though Dormer did keep some of her hair in contrast to book Cressida, she told EW back in January: “I’m actually really pleased that we went halfway because I think it’s more the Capitol… and that’s where Cressida comes from.”
While an earlier set of posters were stark, showing characters like Effie and Haymitch against the backdrop of District 13, these are defiant and militaristic. Each character’s decked out in protective gear, and Mockingjay wings appear to be growing out of each character’s back. It makes sense: these are the characters that are following Katniss into war zones.
