Start kvelling. Barbra Streisand, who only infrequently pays late night shows a visit, will be the only featured guest on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show Monday, according to NBC. The singer, who is promoting an album of duets titled Partners, will be on hand Sept. 15 for what the network is billing as a “night of talk, comedy and performance.”

NBC is touting this as Streisand’s first guest appearance on a U.S. late night talk show in over 50 years, having last been a Tonight Show guest in 1963. She did, as The Hollywood Reporter noted, make a brief cameo on David Letterman’s The Late Show in 1994. (In 1993, Jay Leno sent Richard Simmons to report live from Streisand’s New Year’s Eve show at the MGM Grand and showed a clip of her performance.)

Streisand’s album, due out Sept. 16, features duets with the likes of Michael Bublé, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Blake Shelton, and Josh Groban. Somehow it seems likely that Fallon might decide to duet with her as well.
