Frank director Lenny Abrahamson has found his latest project, and it will reunite him with the company behind his Michael Fassbender-starring film.

EW has confirmed, as Deadline reported, that Element Pictures has acquired the film and television rights to Laird Hunt’s novel Neverhome and has brought in Abrahamson to direct. Neverhome, which released earlier this month, tells the story of Ash Thompson, a farmer’s wife who becomes a Union soldier during the American Civil War. Thompson disguises herself as a man and goes on to become a hero during the war.

Before he brings Neverhome to the big screen, however, Abrahamson will first complete work on an adaptation of the 2010 novel Room, also with Element Pictures.
