She made one of the most inexplicable lies in Survivor history — claiming she had two hidden immunity idols after only 6 days, and thereby immediately and nonsensically paining a huge target right on her own back. And it cost her. Val Collins was the second person voted off of Survivor: San Juan del Sur last night — a victim of her own self-sabotage. But as if being booted from the game wasn’t bad enough, she also had to call into Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM, channel 105) this morning to explain her actions, and now you can hear the entire conversation right here on the InsideTV Podcast.

What was she thinking?!? Does she blame her husband for volunteering for the first challenge that sent her to Exile? And what was up with the beef between her and Baylor? We ask Val all that and more. Hear Val talk her “outlandish, ridiculous lie.” Hear Val descibe her tribe as “a womb of paranoia.” Hear Val’s thoughts John Rocker. You can listen to the whole thing by clicking on the audio player icon below. (The Val interview begins at the 36:45 mark.)

But that’s not all. We also chat with Walking Dead star Emily Kinney, who talks about Beth’s relationship with Daryl as well as the frustrating uncertainty of never knowing if and when you are going to be killed off. It’s a conversation no Walking Dead fan will want to miss.

And then we welcome our old pal Jeff Garlin back to the show. Jeff talks about a possible Curb Your Enthusiasm return and how much improv actually happens on The Goldbergs. He also sits down for another round of “You Said It!” with us. How does he do? Listen in and find out. (The Jeff Garlin interview begins 16 minutes in.)
