Paige Hyland, a 13-year old cast member and dancer on Lifetime’s Dance Moms has filed a lawsuit against Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller. Hyland is suing Miller for emotional distress caused by the alleged mental and physical abuse by Miller for the sake of drama on the show.

Hyland, along with her sister Brooke Hyland and mother Kelly Hyland, were cast members on Dance Moms. The suit claims that “Miller even tossed a chair during a confrontation with Paige” and that “she had observed Miller physcially batter other people on the show including physically pushing Kelly Hyland’s face, pinching another student until she bled and violently grabbing another student by the arm.” According to the suit,  ”Miller is paid to be abusive and bullying to her students and provoke arguments with the mothers in front of the children.”

Miller’s physical altercation with Kelly Hyland was documented in season four, which resulted in a separate $5 million lawsuit in February.
