Missionary | EW.com

A Mormon missionary (Mitch Ryan) breaks bad after an affair with a hot mom (Dawn Olivieri) in a self-serious clunker that fancies itself a latter-day ''Fatal Attraction.'' Three reasons to just say no:

1. In one howler of a scene, mom fantasizes about her sexytime with Elder Brock (Ryan) while driving with her young son. He chatters away to her from the passenger seat. She ignores him.

2. ”If I were you, I’d get a gun and figure out which circumstances allow you to legally shoot an intruder in Florida,” someone says to mom after she rebuffs Brock. Jeez, no one on set questioned the sensitivity of this line?

3. Brock issues this threat: ”If we can’t be together in this life, then we’ll be together side by side in celestial glory.” Just like the movie’s poster says: Mormon love is forever.
