Flower-punk Ariel Pink will put out his highly-anticipated double LP, pom pom, on November 18. The notorious weirdo has released a video for one his new songs, “Picture Me Gone.”

Initially, the video seems out of character for Pink: Hi-def, widescreen, and Pink himself singing in front of a solid pink background that matches his upcoming album art. Then the bizarro kicks in. Characters wander L.A. with strange latex masks, in what a press releases claims to be the “pursuit of sexual encounters and inner content.” The song is roughly about staying power in a digital world—Pink croons, “I backed up all my pictures on my iCloud so you can’t see me when I die”—and director Grant Singer effectively conveys the suggested lack of sincerity.
