Gotham: First Harvey Dent photos

Gotham 109 01

You won’t need to flip a coin to decide whether to look at these photos.

Here’s your exclusive first look at Gotham’s Harvey Dent, played by Masters of Sex and Heroes alum Nicholas D’Agosto.

Dent is described as a “bright, charming, idealistic Assistant District Attorney whose sole mission is to eradicate the crime and corruption that has poisoned Gotham. Handsome, warm, and engaging, Dent is appealing, energetic, and full of light and life, even while taking on the worst Gotham has to offer. Although he will one day serve as the white knight Gotham needs so badly, Harvey Dent also gives us a fleeting glimpse of the hideous villain he will become – Two-Face.”

This is an admittedly intense, attractive and youthful version of Harvey Dent, right? Pretty far from the growling Tommy Lee Jones version in the 1995 film Batman Forever, or the maturely handsome Aaron Eckhart in 2008’s  The Dark Knight, or even the Billy Dee Williams version in 1989’s Batman.

Like in the photo below, D’Agosto looks very 50 Shades of Gotham. He’s dressed in a very modern and sophisticated suit compared to other characters on the time-period-mash-up series, yet you can tell there’s something a little off about him.

Dent’s first appearance is in the Nov. 17 episode of Gotham. The Fox drama had some good news this week as it had a rise in the ratings for the first time. Earlier this week the show’s director also announced the series was going to add the Scarecrow.
