Comedian Dave Chappelle disappeared for a little while, but now he’s back—and he wants to make up for his absence by being on all your favorite shows.

“For one year, I want to do this thing where I guest-star on as many television shows as I possibly can,” Chappelle told GQ in its December issue. “I’d be a zombie in The Walking Dead. A corpse on CSI. I’d be the first black guy to f–k Olivia Pope on Scandal.” (For the record, Olivia Pope’s boyfriend season-two boyfriend, Edison Davis, was black.)

Chappelle already knows the ins and outs of television from starring on Chappelle’s Show, the sketch comedy show that introduced the stand-up comic to the mainstream, from 2003 to 2006. After that, though, he mostly stayed out of the spotlight until a 10-night Radio City Music Hall residency this summer that signaled a comeback of sorts—and was something Chappelle could check off his professional bucket list.

“When I was 19, I used to walk up Sixth Avenue and look at the marquee of Radio City,” he told GQ. “I’d see the lines outside. I’d be like, ‘Man, I just want to… Radio City!'”

But even if those guest-star dreams never come true, he still has some other ideas: “I have all these weird fantasies. Going coast-to-coast on my motorcycle and having random barbecues all over America,” he said. “No show, no nothing … I just like seeing people, man. I just like meeting people.”
