You never know who you might bump into on the streets of New York at Christmas. (Sorry, Captain Holt—whom you might bump into.) It could be a poor imitation of a bell-ringing, money-raising Santa Claus by an undercover cop. And maybe even a charismatic car thief that has fooled said cop silly. Yes, the Christmas episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine features the return of Doug Judy, a.k.a. the Pontiac Bandit (played by Craig Robinson), and this exclusive clip contains your first look at what happens when Jake (Andy Samberg) excitedly lays eyes on the smooth criminal who outsmarted him and slipped away last season.

Executive producer Dan Goor told EW earlier this fall that the Pontiac Bandit once again will serve as “his best criminal friend and his greatest nemesis.” In addition: “He must work intimately with the Pontiac Bandit—the two of them eat Lobster Thermidor while wearing bathrobes.”

The episode airs Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on Fox.
