You’d think that after releasing seven solo albums—and many other collections and collaborations—in six years, Ty Segall would be running out of ideas. Think again. On Tuesday, the San Francisco garage-rock dude announced the Mr. Face EP, due out Jan. 13. It’s the official follow-up to one of EW‘s favorite albums of the yearManipulator, but there’s more to get excited about.

Packaged with some funky artwork, the EP’s two 7″ records will also serve as the first-ever playable 3D glasses. Pressed in translucent blue and red, listeners who take a break from Mr. Face‘s four jams can stare through the discs for some mind-expanding, three-dimensional glory. Looks like Jack White has a new competitor for rock ‘n’ roll vinyl innovation.
