A&E sets premiere for Dick Wolf series 'Nightwatch'

Dick Wolf’s television shows will basically come alive on his new reality series Nightwatch, which follows emergency responders who work the overnight shift in New Orleans.

The series, which follows multiple sets of partners from police officers and firefighters to EMTs, will debut Thursday, Jan. 22, at 10 p.m. on A&E. The premiere features a man being discovered bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds, the EMTs who work to save his life and the police who begin to investigate who shot him.

Nightwatch hails from 44 Blue Productions and Wolf Reality. Wolf, who also produces Law & Order: SVU, Chicago Fire and Chicago PD., will executive-produce alongside Tom Thayer, Rasha Drachkovitch, Shelly Tatro, Drew Tappon, Lily Neumeyer and Devon Graham.
