Seth Rogen and James Franco have canceled all media appearances for their new film The Interview set to debut on Christmas Day, according to various reports. The film was the subject of a new threat from the group perpetrating the Sony hack that invoked the 9/11 attacks Tuesday.

The two were due to speak at a BuzzFeed Brews event Tuesday evening, but BuzzFeed has confirmed that they will not be making that appearance, and the site was the first to report that they have scrapped all appearances.

EW has also confirmed that Franco and Rogen canceled their joint appearance on Wednesday’s The Tonight Show, Rogen will not make a planned Thursday appearance on Late Night, and the actors will not appear on next Monday’s Watch What Happens Live. A representative for Rogen told EW the actor had no comment.

According to Variety, Franco and Rogen are still set to attend a Thursday screening of the film in New York. Rogen and Franco recently spoke to EW Radio for an interview scheduled to air Friday.

Sony and a representative for James Franco did not immediately respond to EW‘s request for comment.
