Robin Williams’ son Zak spoke to People magazine about the loss of his father, who died in August at age 63. “I miss him all the time,” Zak said in the cover story.

“Often I see something or if I’m watching a film, I think, ‘Oh, man, he would have appreciated this,’ or ‘He would have gotten a laugh out of this,” Zak said.

Some of Robin’s own films continue to come out, including Dec. 19’s Night at the Museum: Secret of the TombHe also starred in Merry Friggin’ Christmasa holiday film that was released in November.

Zak is among many people who appear in the next issue of People to speak about Robin’s legacy, both on-screen and off: Actress Marlo Thomas spoke about her work with Robin at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where the two volunteered together for 18 years. “When he came there,” Thomas said, “it was like magic.”

These interviews and more appear in the latest edition of People, out Friday.
