Scott Foley knows who kidnapped Olivia on Scandal. And according to him,  “It’s so good.” So wait, does that mean it isn’t the vice president?

Well, we don’t know that quite yet, but in a discussion with Time, Foley talked about his directorial debut, Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife—a dark comedy available On Demand now and in theaters January 9—as well as the new show he’s writing for ABC, a sitcom that takes place at a couple’s rehearsal dinner. And of course, he gave some hints about what’s ahead for Jake and Olivia.

As far as Foley’s concerned, Jake’s not going to stop fighting for Olivia. “As much as all the fans think Olivia and Fitz are meant to be, I think that Jake truly believes that Olivia is the one for him,” he said. “As frustrated as he can get and as much crap as he can take from Olivia, I think that he needs to stick it out, you know? He needs to make sure that she sees what he knows to be the case.”

He then added, “But keep your fingers crossed for Jake. One way or another, we’re going to find out what happens with the three of them.” Spoiler: They all die. Just kidding.

Scandal returns Thursday, Jan. 29, at 9 p.m. on ABC. Read the full story at
