The Lego Movie may have been snubbed in the Best Animated Feature category when Oscar nominations were announced this morning, but one of its directors is taking the loss in stride. In fact, he doesn’t even need the Academy to make an Oscar statuette. He has Legos!

He added:

This is not a tragedy. Congrats to incredible crew and cast of The Lego Movie, who made a classic.

Lord’s co-director, Chris Miller, was a little more cynical, referencing “Everything Is Awesome,” the movie’s theme—which did score a nomination.

Congrats to “Everything is Awesome” though currently the title of the song doesn’t seem especially accurate!
