Spoiler Room: Scoop on 'Orphan Black,' 'Vampire Diaries,' 'Grey's' and more

SPOILER ROOM

(Steve Wilkie/BBC AMERICA; Guy D'Alema/The CW; Adam)

Welcome to the Spoiler Room, a safe place for spoiler addicts to come on a weekly basis to learn what’s coming next on their favorite shows and, hopefully, get a few of their own questions answered. If you want scoop on a specific show, send your questions to spoilerroom@ew.com.

Can you say whether Rachel is dead or alive on Orphan Black? — Bellamy
“She’s alive,” executive producer John Fawcett says, noting that Rachel will struggle with her new imperfections after being shot in the eye with a pencil during the finale. “How do you take someone like that and then f— them up? How do they respond to that? This is someone who has a ton of power, really, and thrives on [being above the other clones]. Now to be less than perfect and to have her authority and power stripped from her, that’s an interesting journey that character could be on this year.” Who will step up at DYAD in her place? You will be surprised by that answer.

Is Enzo going to do anything other than torture Stefan for the rest of the season on The Vampire Diaries? — Dina
Yes and no. In his attempts to torture Stefan, Enzo “sort of insinuates himself into Sarah Salvatore’s [Tristin Mays] life,” Julie Plec teases, adding, “but Sarah’s pretty.” Does that mean it will turn romantic? “Let’s just say that one of our inspirations for this story is Les Liaisons Dangereuses, like that John Malkovich, Dangerous Liasons kind of vibe where you get into something for one reason but then you maybe get surprised by the outcome.” But don’t get too attached to the potential couple just yet. Plec promised that Enzo, in his typical fashion, is more than capable of screwing it up.

Anything Grey’s Anatomy would be appreciated. — Ginny
The residents are finally going to be picking their specialties. “A storyline opens up where Stephanie chooses a very specific avenue and she tells one of the Attendings that she has chosen them,” Jerrika Hinton tells me. “They are to be her mentor. They are the person she wants to be when she grows up. I’m not sure if she’s choosing the specialty or if she’s choosing the person, but in a way, she’s chosen something.” Her new mentor may or may not be pictured above!

What can we expect from the two part Elementary event starting with “The Illustrious Client” on January 22nd? — Adrianna
It should come as no surprise after Thursday night’s episode that Kitty will play a large role in it. “Kitty began working with Sherlock in response to being victimized, to empower herself,” executive producer Rob Doherty says. “Now that her attacker is in New York, we get to find out if her training is complete. The question of ‘Is she prepared to handle this?’ isn’t just about her skills as an investigator. It’s a question of how she’ll cope with this confrontation, and what that will do to Sherlock and Joan.”

Will Team Arrow actually tell Laurel that Thea killed Sara? — Brian
That’s the big question once Laurel joins the team. “Laurel will find out who killed her sister,” Katie Cassidy tells me. “The audience will be surprised by her reaction. I feel like I wouldn’t be surprised if Laurel lost it on Thea, but people will be surprised and excited.” As for the big “Canaries” episode coming up, Cassidy says, “There’s going to be some crazy badass scenes of the Canaries fighting.” Make of that what you will.

Now that Peggy found Howard Stark’s inventions, where does Agent Carter go now? — Veronica
Peggy will still be attempting to clear Stark’s name, but Leviathan will take a more prominent role in the coming episodes. “Why did they steal Howard Stark’s stuff? And what’s Howard Stark’s secret agenda?” executive producer Michele Fazekas says. You may find a clue to that in the comics.

Will we see Dahlia in present day on The Originals? — Tom
Yup! They even just sent out a casting breakdown for her, which is “proof that she exists,” executive producer Julie Plec tells me. “We’re so excited to see what kind of talent we can pull towards this role, because it’s juicy and meaty and [she’ll go] head-to-head with Klaus.” As for the details of Dahlia’s return, there’s a chance she won’t be alone. “Did [Dahlia] dabble in immortality spells?” executive producer Michael Narducci ponders. “And if so, if Dahlia is still around, is Freya?”

Will Frank be able to help Jackie out following her arrest in the Nurse Jackie finale? — Katie
Alas, Frank really has severed ties with Jackie and is not expected to return. In fact, Jackie will find new prospects this season after she gets out of jail. “She has another romantic relationship this year and it will not be a surprise,” executive producer Clyde Phillips reveals. “It will make sense.” Hit the comments with your guesses!

Will we see Kono and Adam’s wedding on Hawaii Five-0 this season? — Rett
Possibly, but the couple will have to get over one very big hurdle first. “We are playing this arc with Kono struggling with whether she’s going to marry Adam or not,” executive producer Peter Lenkov says. “That’s going to play out by the end of the season.”

What’s coming up on Marry Me? — Brynn
Things are going to get very violent soon. “My role as Annie’s de facto mom really gets tested when Nia Vardalos shows up in an episode as her biological mom,” Dan Bucatinsky tells me. “We really have it out. It’s a knock-down brawl.” I have a feeling Kevin 2 is a scrapper.

Best news I’ve heard all week: The Gallaghers are here to stay.
