Nadastrom gives 'Becoming Harmonious' an otherworldly rework -- exclusive

The same way they followed 2010’s Drink the Sea with Drink the Sea Remixes in 2011, electronic music trio The Glitch Mob, out of Los Angeles, is releasing Love Death Immortality Remixesan 18-track LP featuring reworks of last year’s Love Death Immortality—which peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Top Albums chart and No. 1 on iTunes Independent and Dance charts. The collection is out Feb. 24 and features tracks from Bassnectar, Plaid, Hive, and the inventors of moombahton themselves, Nadastrom, which EW is premiering below.

EdIT, Boreta, and Ooah said in a joint statement: “We’ve been following Nadastrom since the early days of moombahton, which we love. But what really caught our ear was their ‘Fallen Down’ EP in 2014. We listened to it on repeat while on tour, and it was in the set change music every night. Vibes.”

The original—a downtempo, atmospheric track—gets a pulsing baseline and trancey vocal begging for the nearest dance floor.
