It seems like just last month we were welcoming back Parks and Recreation for its seventh season—oh, right, we were—and now we’re being told that it’s already time to say goodbye again.
This one’s for all the waffles, though, as it is the final farewell, the big bye, the last, ‘Later, dude!’, the terminal toodles, and wow are these alliterative ways to describe the end getting forced. The official plot description of the small-town comedy’s finale titled “One Last Ride” (Tuesday, 10 p.m., NBC) doesn’t reveal much—”The Parks gang completes one last task together, before saying goodbye to Pawnee”—but this exclusive-to-EW clip will give you at least a tiny peek at the send-off. Here, Leslie (Amy Poehler) tells Tom (Aziz Ansari) as they deliver a form to maintenance, “We have one final problem to fix.” She’ll also run into Pawnee’s favorite problem, who seems to be on a roll, Jean-Ralphio (Ben Schwartz).
