Game of Thrones star Carice van Houten to guest on The Simpsons -- exclusive

Winter is leaving—and the Red Priestess from Game of Thrones is arriving in Springfield soon.

Thrones star Carice van Houten has recorded a guest voice for an episode of The Simpsons, EW has learned. In the May 3 episode of the animated Fox comedy, titled “Let’s Go Fly A Coot,” van Houten will play Annika, Milhouse’s Dutch cousin. (Yes, a real-life van Houten is playing a fictional Van Houten, though she doesn’t capitalize the “v” in “van.”) Annika smokes e-cigarettes and sparks some romantic interest from Bart, whom she introduces to the vice.

The actress returns to her regularly scheduled role of Melisandre when season 5 of Thrones begins next month on HBO.

Pharrell, Will Forte, Nick Offerman, and Sammy Hagar are among the other famous folks who have served as guest voices in season 26.
