The college dropout drops in—Glastonbury Festival announced Kanye West as its Saturday night headliner for 2015. A statement on the festival’s site reads: “We’re very excited to reveal that Kanye West will headline the Saturday night of this year’s Glastonbury Festival. This will be the rapper’s first appearance at the Festival.” The storied festival, taking place June 24-28, began in 1970 and is organized by the founder, dairy farmer Michael Eavis, on his own land each year. Jay Z was, to the ire of Noel Gallagher, the first hip-hop act to headline, in 2008.

Other confirmed acts are Foo Fighters and Lionel Richie.

Elsewhere in Kanye-land, the rapper revealed in an interview with French media outlet Clique last week that he’ll be receiving an honorary doctorate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The artist dropped the news in stereotypical fashion saying, “”I was a gifted artist since age 5 and won national competitions and went to art school. I’m actually getting an honorary doctorate on May 5 from the Art Institute of Chicago.”
