BOOTS scorches on Tonight Show, plots U.S. tour

(Tony Corell)

Multi-instrumentalist Jordan Asher, who produces music as BOOTS, was introduced Wednesday night on the Tonight Show by Jimmy Fallon as an artist “sweeping the nation”—and now he is, literally, correct, as the artist announces a three-date U.S. headlining tour.

BOOTS released Motorcycle Jesus, a post-apocalyptic 30-minute short film, in February and its searing, EP-length soundtrack of the same name earlier this month. Last night, he performed “I Run Roulette,” a track that’s pure rock & roll squall, and gave the a searing performance with a light show to match. The artist’s first full-length is expected to drop later this year. The clip and tour dates are below.

June 15 – Los Angeles, CA – The Echo
June 18 – San Francisco, CA – Popscene
July 16 – New York, NY – Bowery Ballroom
