Hannibal Buress reminded the world of the sexual abuse accusations against Bill Cosby back in October when the comedian called Cosby a rapist in a stand-up set that went viral. Since then, dozens of women have come forward claiming Cosby has sexually abused them. When Jimmy Kimmel confronted Buress about that on Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Buress decided to skirt the topic, talking about the death threats he’s received instead of the storm currently surrounding Cosby.

“The weirdest thing about getting a death threat from a male body builder slash stripper on Facebook is when you click on his profile and see that you have one mutual friend,” Buress joked. “And then having to hit your friend up, and saying, ‘Hey man, can you tell your buddy to stop saying that he’s going to murder me?'”
