Robyn has signed on to help launch a brand-new festival, but it’s not going to be the next Coachella or Bonnaroo, as it will focus on encouraging young women to pursue their interests in technology.

The Swedish musician has announced that she will be partnering with the Royal Institute of Technology, or the KTH, in Stockholm, Sweden to launch Tekla, a one-day festival focused on exposing young girls to opportunities in the world of technology.

Tekla will be held on April 18 in Sweden and offer a host of panels, speakers, workshops and more to help young women sample the potential of different fields of technology. And of course, Robyn will perform.

Robyn received the KTH’s annual Great Prize in 2013 for using “the new technology in IT, audio and video in innovative and exciting ways.”
