James Corden usually opens The Late Late Show by peeking into the guests’ dressing rooms to say hello, but Josh Gad messed that up Wednesday evening: The camera went into Gad’s dressing room, but he wasn’t there… because he was sitting in the audience.

Gad, who’s starring in FX’s The Comedians alongside Billy Crystal, told Corden he’s always wanted to be a late night host—and then he launched into a revised version of Frozen‘s “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” (sample lyric: “Can I help you host the show, man?”) that Corden eventually got in on. Watch below:

In a related video, Gad pitches his new show The Comedians to an anti-captivity whale activist, Jerry Stiller, and his Frozen counterpart, Olaf.
