Tame Impala plays 'Let It Happen' on Conan, is awesome

(TBS)

Fresh off of a Coachella Weekend One that saw them take over the main stage and play right before rock legends AC/DC, Kevin Parker’s psych-rock project Tame Impala stopped by Conan to play the lead single off their forthcoming third studio full-length, “Let It Happen.” In its original form, the track is an eight-minute, swirling journey to Valhalla; in its late-night form, it’s condensed to four blissfully wandering minutes.

Currents is expected later this year via Interscope. The band is currently on tour, heading back to Coachella for Weekend Two on Friday before weaving across the country, ending this run at Governor’s Ball Music Festival in New York City in June.
