Jaimie Alexander’s character in NBC’s new series Blindspot may have lost her memory, but we bet you won’t forget the show’s first photo.
The network just ordered this pilots to series a few moments ago from executive producer Greg Berlanti (Arrow). The concept has an intruging Memento-meets-The Blacklist hook: “A beautiful Jane Doe (Alexander) is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. There’s one that’s very clear, however: the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller, emblazoned across her back. ‘Jane,’ Agent Weller and rest of the FBI quickly realize that each mark on her body is a crime to solve, leading them closer to the truth about her identity and the mysteries to be revealed.”
And that official description didn’t even mention the duffel bag!
Alexander, of course, is best known as playing Lady Sif in the Marvel universe, particularly the Thor franchise.
NBC also gave series orders to two new medical dramas, including the latest Chicago Fire spinoff.
