The CW's fall trailers: Legends of Tomorrow, Containment and more

(Jim Fiscus/The CW)

The CW’s new show trailers are here: Below, get your first look at the Arrow-Flash spinoff DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Julie Plec drama Containment, and Rebecca Bloom’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

When heroes alone are not enough, the world needs Legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat—Vandal Savage!—one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

Hailing from Vampire Diaries and Originals boss Plec, Containment tells the story of a deadly epidemic that breaks out in Atlanta, forcing a large city quarantine that leaves those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives. Based upon the original Belgian series, the series explores loved ones tragically torn apart, and how the society that grows inside the cordon reveals both the devolution of humanity and the birth of unlikely heroes.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend stars Rachel Bloom as a successful, driven, and possibly crazy young woman who impulsively gives up everything—her partnership at a prestigious law firm and her upscale apartment in Manhattan—in a desperate attempt to find love and happiness in that exotic hotbed of romance and adventure: West Covina, Calif. (It’s only two hours from the beach! Four in traffic).
