There comes a time in every workplace romance that’s poorly masquerading as a friendship when someone has to take a deep breath and confess their feelings. Sometimes you even have to do it more than once, especially if during the first time you said, “I kinda wish something could happen between us… romantic styles.”

That brings us to Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero) on the season finale of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Once again, the pair is at a crossroads of crushes: They’re supposed to be working a big undercover operation to nab an identity thief. Jake, doesn’t want to work the case with Amy, though, and Amy wants to know why. So he’s going to dig deep and tell her… in his own weird way, as you can see in this exclusive clip from “Johnny and Dora,” which airs Sunday at 8:30 on Fox.

After that, watch them kiss in a different scene from the episode, and place your bets on whether they wind up as a couple— a cople, if you will. And it’s totally cool if you won’t.
