President Barack Obama officialy joined Twitter today—the account you thought was him was run by the nonprofit advocacy group Organizing for Action. The president, with the aptly named account ”@POTUS,” made his inaugural tweet today, helping to set the Twitter expectations for all future presidents:
Hello, Twitter! It’s Barack. Really! Six years in, they’re finally giving me my own account.

But the best news of all is not his tweet, but rather one man’s response to it. The official Captain America Twitter account welcomed Obama’s arrival and proved that social media is definitely something Steve Rogers does not need to include on his list of what he might need to catch up on since being dug out of the ice.

Maybe this will be the first step in having Obama join the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a cameo in Captain America: Civil War. After all, just about everyone else is in that movie.
