British indie rockers The 1975 created some buzz about their future over the weekend when frontman Matt Healy posted a cryptic comic strip to Twitter. With quotes like, “Until then there won’t be any pop music or dancing with long hair” and “The hardest part of any relationship is to say ‘goodbye,'” the comic seemed to hint that The 1975 was calling it quits—and then the band’s Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, and Instagram accounts went dark.

Now The 1975’s Twitter account is back up and running. Early Tuesday morning, the band posted an image that looks an awfully lot like a new album cover:

Healy tweeted a pink image Monday night that while similarly mysterious seems linked to the 1975 photo as well:

Stay tuned for more on the breakup scare, which now seems like it could be an elaborate marketing scheme for the band’s follow-up to their 2013 self-titled debut.
