Childrens Hospital renewed for season 7

Adult Swim has ordered 500 more ccs of Childrens Hospital. Or to put it in non-medical terms, “another season.”

The network announced today that it had picked up a seventh season of the Emmy-winning absurdist hospital comedy from creator/star Rob Corddry.

“I’m happy,” Corddry said in a statement. “After our season six cliff hanger, people will be dying for us to turn our backs on the notion of series continuity even more.”

Production on season 7 is scheduled to begin this summer, and those episodes will air sometime next year.  The season 6 finale airs June 19 at midnight. 

Adult Swim recently ordered a pilot with Jason Alexanderrenewed The Eric Andre Show, and announced that the upcoming season of Aqua Teen Hunger Force will be its last.
