Jon Stewart slams McKinney police officer's use of force at a local pool party

(Comedy Central)

Video surfaced last weekend of a police officer in McKinney, Texas pulling a gun on a group of teenagers who had gathered at a pool party and shoving one young woman wearing a bikini down to the ground. The officer has since been placed on administrative leave, but as Jon Stewart and Jessica Williams explained on Monday night’s edition of The Daily Show, the whole incident might actually be a sign of progress.

“It’s progress because a cop pulled a gun on a group of black kids, and nobody is dead,” Williams, dressed in a McKini (a bulletproof bikini), said on the show. Stewart, meanwhile, called the cop an “assh-le” for ordering the young woman to the ground when she was already there.
