Chris Pratt’s number one acting rule while working on Jurassic World? Don’t overact. With that in mind, Pratt revealed that his performance in the newly released film may give Derek Zoolander’s Blue Steel a run for its money.

Pratt made a whopping three faces during the filming of Jurassic World, so that when his face was blown up on the big screen, he wouldn’t confuse the audience. He demonstrated his faces for fear, love, and pure joy on Conan, offering a look at what are either subtle masterworks of acting… or just an impressive ability to not do much of anything.

Watch the video above, and judge for yourself before seeing Pratt put those faces to use in Jurassic World. For more on the film, read EW’s review, and hear from the EW Must List Issue cover star about his time on the film’s set.
