While the full ramifications of John Stamos’ DUI arrest remain unclear, a source close to Stamos tells EW that the actor is back at work on an unnamed film.
Stamos was pulled over on Friday night in Los Angeles after multiple people alerted the police to an erratic driver. He was later charged with DUI after his intoxication levels were confirmed at Cedars-Sinai hospital. (Stamos was sent to the hospital because police felt he might have been suffering from a medical condition.) He was spotted at LAX Sunday.
The 51-year-old star is expected to have a busy summer, thanks to the Netflix series Fuller House and the new Fox comedy Grandfathered. Production on the latter comedy that stars Stamos as a longtime bachelor who discovers he’s both a father and a grandfather will begin in early August.
Fox announced that Grandfathered would premiere in the fall, though the network has yet to announce its debut date.
After leaving Cedars-Sinai, Stamos tweeted, “thanks to everyone for their love & support. I’m home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care.”
