Icona Pop releases claustrophobic 'Emergency' video

Icona Pop has released a video for their recent single “Emergency,” and it’s as much of a party as the song itself. Like all the best ’90s music videos, the “Emergency” clip features a square aspect ratio and a fixed camera for the stars to repeatedly approach and mug into like pros. The Swedish pop duo gets a little wild, at one point employing some strategically placed police lights.

Icona Pop will tour as an opener for the Zayn-less One Direction later this summer. The group’s new EP arrives on July 10. Check out the “Emergency” video below.
