The project, written and directed by Dutch filmmaker Martin Koolhoven (Winter in Wartime), stars Fanning as Liz, “a heroine on the run from her past being chased by Pearce’s diabolical Preacher,” according to a press release.
Brimstone’s cast also includes Paul Anderson (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows), Jack Roth (The Great Train Robbery), Carla Juri (Wetlands), and Harington’s Thrones co-star Carice van Houten. Principal photography on the film recently got under way in Europe.
You won’t have to wait for this film to catch more of Harington, though. He’s also starring with Andy Samberg in the HBO mockumentary 7 Days in Hell, which you can check out the trailer for below.
