The Game pleaded not guilty to two charges—felony criminal threats and misdemeanor assault—Monday, according to the Associated Press. If convicted, he faces up to three years in prison.

The rapper, born Jayceon Taylor, was arrested June 8 for the threats charge. He was only in custody for an hour before posting $50,000 bail. The Game allegedly punched an off-duty police officer during a basketball game last March, according to prosecutors.

Taylor is set to return to court July 30, according to the AP.
