Dave Grohl might have a broken leg, but that’s not stopping him from rocking out on stage. Grohl performed at a Washington, D.C. motorcycle rally where he covered Neil Young’s “Cinnamon Girl” with the help of Pearl Jam’s Dave Krusen and Blind Melon’s Christopher Thorn.

In fan-shot video from the July 4 rally, Grohl sits on the stage with his broken leg—covered in a bright purple cast, no less—resting on a folding chair and headbangs away while performing the 1970 single.

Grohl broke his leg falling at the Foo Fighters’ June 12 show in Sweden, and the band went on to cancel multiple tour dates. They’ve since resumed touring though: The same day as the motorcycle rally, the Foo Fighters kicked off the North American segment of their Sonic Highways World Tour in Washington, D.C. See their full list of upcoming tour dates on the band’s website.
