For the first time since 1992’s Lorenzo’s Oil, Susan Sarandon and Nick Nolte will be playing husband and wife once again.
Epix has announced that Sarandon will star opposite Nolte in Graves, an upcoming half-hour political satire following former U.S. president Richard Graves (Nolte) as he decides to make amends for his administration’s wrongs. Sarandon will play his wife, Margaret, who has decided to pursue her own political ambitions.
“We are overjoyed to have Susan join the cast of Graves,” said Mark S. Greenberg, president and CEO of Epix. “Susan is a phenomenal actor whose comedic talents will bring a depth and richness of character to the role.”
Created and written by Joshua Michael Stern, the 10-episode series will premiere in fall 2016. Production will begin this autumn.
