The Killer Next Door, British novelist Alex Marwood’s follow-up to the wildly popular The Wicked Girls, will be getting a film adaptation. James Franco and Ahna O’Reilly are developing the crime thriller for the screen, EW confirmed today with Franco’s rep.
Franco and O’Reilly previously costarred in two Franco-directed William Faulkner adaptations: 2013’s As I Lay Dying and last year’s The Sound and the Fury. The two actors will produce along with Vince Jolivette through Franco and Jolivette’s Rabbit Bandini Productions. O’Reilly may also star in the film, Variety reports.
