Bob's Burgers cast reveals plans for comic book, album ahead of season 6 premiere

The sixth season of Bob’s Burgers doesn’t kick off until September, but fans of the animated Fox series have plenty to look forward to before the premiere.

“Not only do we have the comic book rolling out the second chunk, 14 issues, starting this summer,” creator Loren Bouchard said during a stop at Entertainment Weekly’s Lounge at Comic-Con. “We have the album coming out two days before our premiere.”

The Bob’s Burgers album, set to drop Sept. 25, brought up talks of a potential Grammy win for the cast. “Hopefully we’ll beat out at least Bill Clinton’s book,” said Eugene Mirman, who voices Gene Belcher.

The cast also revealed some upcoming guest stars for season 6 — such as Steve Bushemi, Wanda Sykes and Henry Winkler — along with the character they’d most like to spend with and who the only castmate was to attend Kristen Schaal’s wedding.

Bob’s Burgers will return Sunday, Sept. 27 on Fox.
