Yo La Tengo’s latest release off their upcoming covers album is a rendition of The Cure’s “Friday I’m In Love” set to a music video filled with shots of a fiery apocalypse — and some more hopeful images too.

The band’s not new to covering songs: They released an album titled Fakebook in 1990 that was mostly made up of covers including Cat Stevens’ “Here Comes My Baby” and Daniel Johnston’s “Speeding Motorcycle.” Stuff Like That There follows a similar concept, and — like Fakebook — will also include Yo La Tengo originals.
