Ryan Reynolds and Ben Mendelsohn are placing bets on a road trip in the new trailer for their film Mississippi Grind.

Mendelsohn (Bloodline) plays Gerry, a talented but down-on-his-luck gambler who teams up with a younger, charismatic poker player named Curtis (Reynolds) in hopes of changing his luck. The two travel down to a high stakes poker game in New Orleans, finding themselves in various bars, racetracks, casinos, and pool halls as they make their way down the Mississippi River, forging a bond through the trip’s highs and lows.

The film, written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, premiered at Sundance earlier this year and also features Sienna Miller, Analeigh Tipton, Robin Weigert, and Alfre Woodard in its cast.
