Spoiler Room: Scoop on Once, Gotham, The Flash and more

(Jack Rowand/ABC; Jessica Miglio/FOX; Diyah Pera/The CW)

Welcome to the Spoiler Room, a safe place for spoiler addicts to come on a weekly basis to learn what’s coming next on their favorite shows and, hopefully, get a few of their own questions answered. If you want scoop on a specific show, send your questions to spoilerroom@ew.com.

How are the Charmings dealing with Emma going dark on Once Upon a Time? — Luis
Not well. “It is definitely going to put a strain on Snow and Charming’s relationship,” Josh Dallas says. “There are things they’re going to go through in finding their way back to Emma.” But it’s not all doom and gloom this season. “You’re going to see Charming have a big bromance with King Arthur and go on some adventures,” he says. “We’re going to see Charming at his most heroic in Camelot.”

Clearly Barbara is alive on Gotham, so what can you tell me about her arc this season? — Amy
If you thought Barbara killing her parents was bad, it’s only the beginning. “That moment where she kills her parents is the moment she sets herself completely free from every tie she ever had — her ties to Jim, to society, or maybe even sanity, you could argue,” Erin Richards says. Furthermore, she says that Barbara is headed to Arkham in episode 1, where she’ll meet “this band of emerging villains who shape who she’s going to be in this series.”

Is there anything you can tease about Jay Garrick coming to The Flash? — Derek
As the season aims to explore Barry finessing his powers, Jay Garrick’s arrival is “going to have an impact on everybody on Team Flash,” according to Danielle Panabaker. “He’s going to be a very cool mentor to Barry and he’s going to help Barry expand his powers and the things that he’s capable of doing.”

I need more Blacklist scoop! — Kyle
Liz will turn to a very unlikely place in her bid to escape, which enrages Ressler, who is very gung-ho about catching his former partner and will go to great lengths to do so, even if it means putting others in danger. Twist: Ressler will be forced to save Liz during her escape.

Got anything Under the Dome? — Benjamin
Gia Mantegna, the daughter of Criminal Minds star Joe Montegna, will make her debut on Aug. 6 for a multi-episode arc as Lily, a low-level Aktaion employee whom we first meet when a select few in Chester’s Mill find a way to communicate with the outside world. Lily is a sweet but tough hacker who has taken on Hunter’s old role within the company. Despite her rank, she stands up to the powerful people she works with — especially once Eriq LaSalle’s character forces her to see Aktaion in a new light. Lily thinks of herself as a good judge of character when she decides to bring someone into her confidence, but she’s also holding a dark secret and a devastating deep personal connection to the Dome and to the fate of the Kinship.

Huge Arrow fan here. Do you know when Sara is going to be brought back to life? — Liam
I’ve got some good news for you then: I hear she’ll take a dip in the Lazarus Pits before DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. “On Arrow, we’ve got some business [to handle],” executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells me. “Ray didn’t explode in a catastrophic explosion and Sara needs to not be dead.” Hmm, could the new Ra’s al Ghul, aka Malcolm Merlyn, be the one to resurrect Sara? “He’s got a strong point of view on [that],” Guggenheim says. “It’s going to be handled head-on. We’re doing a really great episode that really tackles the question of Sara, death and resurrection. On Arrow, nothing is easy, so it’s not as simple as dumping her in the water.”

Is it too soon for scoop on The Mindy Project? — Sarah
Even though the comedy is moving to Hulu, The Mindy Project won’t miss a beat, picking up with Danny meeting Mindy’s parents in India. Word on the street is that Mindy’s mother is an aspiring Bollywood actress, while her father is looking to basically kill the man who knocked up Mindy and left her unmarried. So, good luck Danny!

Are we going to see more of Paige this season on Graceland? Her storyline has really be lacking since the Mike stuff. — Micah
Paige steps up in a big way next week by going undercover with Ari’s nemesis and fortunately saving Briggs’ life in the process. Meanwhile, when Mike gets caught up in a tight situation — detoxing behind bars isn’t fun — Jakes has to step in as backup for Charlie down in Miami, which actually leads to a big revelation at Graceland.

Do you know who the killer is on Scream? — Topher
First off, I think the possibility that Brandon James is alive and orchestrating all of this is very unlikely. Second, I’m going to venture a guess that it’s killers — plural not singular. Hear me out: Next week’s episode drops some big clues as to who might be the killer — so much so that I was declaring said person the culprit to my co-workers — and yet the potential killer will soon find him or herself on the wrong side of the mask, which makes me think it’s a ruse and said person has a partner. The comments section awaits your guesses!

Anything Legends of Tomorrow would be appreciated. — Shawn
As you may have heard, Carter Hall, aka Hawkman, is coming to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but I hear we’ll actually see him pop up on The Flash and Arrow first. Described as charismatic and wise beyond his years, Hawkman is a natural-born leader with an abundance of charm and confidence—well, that’s because he’s 5,000 years old. Much like the comic book iteration, Carter retains his memories of his past lives each time he is reborn, though his lover (aka Hawkgirl) is born anew. In other words, Kendra Saunders will have no idea who he is at first.

Best news I’ve heard all week: We won’t have to wait all season to find out who killed Rebecca on How to Get Away with Murder!

That’s a wrap on this week’s Spoiler Room. Be sure to email your questions to spoilerroom@ew.com or tweet them to @NatalieAbrams.
