John Cena proved that even with a broken nose, the show must go on. And for the wrestler, going on meant winning despite his injury on WWE Raw.

The Trainwreck star took on Seth Rollins in the Raw main event on the July 27 episode, competing for the U.S. Championship. Shortly after the fight began, Rollins kneed Cena in the face, and Cena then spun backwards slammed into the ropes and fell to the mat. As the broken nose was not a scripted moment, something went wrong along the way — WWE physician Dr. Steve Daquino confirmed to that Cena suffered “a nasal fraction.”

Cena continued fighting despite the injury and, whether it was the plan all along or Rollins merely felt bad for him, Cena went on to win the match. Watch the match, including the moment of injury shortly after the one-minute mark, below.
