Meryl Streep is officially a rock star. She’s even got her own music video to prove it.

The Oscar-winning actress’ next role finds her as rock star Ricki Rendazzo in Jonathan Demme’s Ricki and the Flash, and EW is excited to premiere the new music video for “Cold One,” off the film’s soundtrack.

“Cold One” is one of the original songs on the album, and was written by Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice. In the new video, we see footage of Streep as Ricki, Mamie Gummer (Streep’s real-life daughter) as her daughter Julie, and Kevin Kline as her  ex-husband Pete Brummel. Streep and her fictional band the Flash, featuring Rick Springfield, George Bernard “Bennie” Worrell Jr. on keys, Joe Vitale on Drums and the late Rick Rosas with the bass, perform the song.

Due out Aug. 7, the Ricki and the Flash Original Motion Picture Soundtrack also includes U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” (performed by Ricki and the Flash) and a song by Streep’s son Henry Wolfe. It’s currently available for pre-order via iTunes.

Here’s the music video for “Cold One.”
